Ticketmaster organized for the 4th time the Ticket of the Year contest – this year also in Greece! For one week, fans got to look back and reminisce about their favorite show of the year and VOTE, directly on Ticketmaster. Therefore, the results were not influenced by ticket sales, but only by the fan’s preference. Hence, they choose the best show for the Ticket of The Year 2018.
Ticketmaster Hellas is known for providing tickets to all kind of LIVE events and the results proved just that, as the first places involved all kinds of genres, such as theater and concerts, Greek and foreign music.
Our big Ticket of the Year 2018 winner was the play “THE FAROS”, directed by Konstantinos Markoulakis and produced by Karolos Pavlakis, which is currently to its 2nd season at the Athinon Theater.
Mr. Markoulakis was kind enough to make a comment on his win:
“We are beyond doubt extremely happy that our play has reached first in the fan’s preference! Since the start of this project, we were aware that our play is a dark, different, dare to say difficult to absorb script, so the fact that its success was such that made us continue for a 2nd season, and now it was chosen by the public, for us it is the best reward!”.

Also, worldwide, the top winner was the highly popular BTS band.
